Tiramisu

We had Tiramisu for our dessert this evening.

I made it this morning.

I just want to make something clear, dear reader:

If it were legal and I were free to do so, I would marry Tiramisu, rub it all over my face and have its babies.

And I'd eat the children.

What recipe do you use?

Oh please post the recipe. This looks delicious. I want some...

I use Delia Smith's recipe but doctor it a little bit. I add a small tub of double cream and use Amaretto instead of Rum.

... Btw, what drink is your favourite? Or, in better English, I guess, what do you prefer: whiskey (scotch) or gin?
Thanks in advance!

That looks so yum.

I hate whiskey - it makes me sick.

I do like Gin. Of the two, it's my favourite.

My absolute favourite alcoholic beverage, though, is Campari (with soda).

... Not very Scottish or British, I'd say... But then again I'm not that much into red wine myself either... One might assume we all drink it here by the liter, and that's just not true.
I cannot stand the smell of Gin. Understandable: the first time ever I got drunk in my life was due to a bottle of Gin I decided to drink up. And so I did... I was 20, and I was aching.

Stange that you say that, Ric. The first time I ever got drunk, I was 14. Yes, 14! Whiskey! Even the smell of it now makes me feel ill.
