Parade!

Yesterday, Phyllis and I attended the 30th annual Edinburgh Festival Cavalcade. It was fabulous.

Some audience members chose to be babies.

Some people in the parade chose to wear tartan.

Some thought they were remaking the Go West video.

Some people liked to bang their own drum.

Some sold out to Pepsi.

Some people liked to wave fans about.

Some people liked to wear not many clothes.

Some cats liked to wear hats.

Some people took themselves too seriously.

Some men from Bangkok liked to be ladies.

Some women liked to come over to a screaming Minge and kiss his hand.

Some people liked to drive a L'Oreal car.

Some of the people in the parade even liked to operate giant puppets.

Some of the people were actually Daleks and robotic dogs.

Some dancers liked to wear tight, white clothing. So tight, in fact, that you could tell which of the troup were circumcised and which were not.

Some people took photographs of themselves after asking someone else to do so and finding they'd cut their heads off.

Afterwards, on the bus, some people showed their bottoms.

Some people were this, some were that and some were the other, but all, without exception, had a good time.

The highlight, for me, was when a bunch of Chinese people came down the street and my boyfriend called out, "Don't worry. One day you'll be free!"

Great photos!

Looks like it was fun! Pepsi has a marching band? What next, their own army?

Parades in these parts usually involve a lot of Semi Trucks and large farm equipment.

Pepsi sponsored that band. I can't remember where they were from, but it was somewhere within the USA. I heard someone say, "Americans will sell their souls for a logo."
