Live from Edinburgh

Moncrief has just been telling of his trip to Scotland on his fabulous blog... I mentioned the fog in his comments section and was then inspired to go outside to photograph it.

My poor photography skills are well documented. Here's further proof to back this up.

Little photographers secret for you:

ALWAYS employ the rule of thirds.

(How do you hyperlink in a comment?)

Your photographs will immediately improve. If you’d applied this rule to the picture of the lamp then it would have been a bit more striking. Only a bit more, mind you, as the subject didn’t exactly blow my skirt up…. Lol

Happy picture taking!

I've just had a wee idea!

Wouldn't it be great if we all had a photography competition every week? We could set a subject matter and a deadline! Fabulous... I demand you instigate it right away as more people read your blog....

Whaddya think?

I'm totally up for that!

I feel like a fraud though, putting it on my blog. Why don't you put it on your blog? I can always advertise it on mine! I think you should do it over the weekend, though, and give people the two days to complete it.

Whadya think?

I think it's a fab idea, me.

Don't you like this little international group of friends we've created here? I think it's fabulous. And I'm glad Graham and Alan2 have joined us.

I'm glad, glad, glad, too, Moncrief.

Life can sometimes be quite fabulous.

Mm mm mm mm mmmmmmmm.... I'm Lovin' It! I think it's great this wee group we've got going. Just think, it was only 10 years ago we'd all have to be pen-pals and it wouldn't have been quite the same.

Okay, I'll do the photography competition and you advertise it.... I'm going to steal your saying now: I'm so excited I could vomit!

Here's another gay Scottish guy with a fabulous blog, btw.

Blogging is the best. It's like being able to see inside people's heads all over the world.

You're like giddy little schemers starting a "cool" gang. You lot seriously make me laugh so much.

I love it.
