They should re-name this show "Assistant Who?"
I know!
your link "Paul Cornells house of awkwardness" goes to Dan's blog.
She's dreamy looking and all and, granted, she didn't have a lot to do in Army of Ghosts but I wasn't that overwhlemed with her performance. Still, I'm glad to see the Doctor taking on a companion of color and hopefully there'll be less sexual tension. I just hope she has a hint of Rose's gumption.
He's forgotten to close one link and add another, bless him :)
I'm just a tit.
It will be weird her having played two parts in the programme - but if Colin Baker could pull it off, I'm sure she will.
Knowing RTD, he may try to incorporate it into the storyline.
BTW, do you remember Rose's reaction an episode or two ago when the Doctor, very off-the-cuff, said, "I was a father once."
I wonder if that little bit is going to play itself off in a bigger way later?
I hope so.
He reckoned all the Time Lords were dead. What about Susan? I bet she's regenerated.
I've missed reading your blog... :)
I'm glad you're back, hen!
My guess is that that's the great secret the Face of Bo will tell him on their third encounter: not all the Time Lords died.
He did make the enigmatic comment in the last series that if there were any more Time Lords left, he'd "feel" them. But, like Mickey said, "it wouldn't be the first time he was wrong."
I want to see the Master. Better yet, bring back the Rani! Make her a sexy dominatrix with a whip. Who do you think should play the new and improved Rani?
Since you check your blog more regularly than your e-mail, I'll leave this link here for your enjoyment: Gimme Your Stuff.
This seems like something you'd be interested in.
I found out this morning who it was - she's the first black assistant. Yay for time-travelling sistas!
I'm so glad it's a black girl. I'm secretly holding out for her being a lesbian, too!
I'd like to see the Torchwood boss (the gal from East Enders) exposed as The Rani!
WHo to play the master? How about William Gaunt?
Just checking out Gimme Your Stuff now...! Thanks!
