Washing

The woman next door to me is a proper clartie bitch.

And if she's reading this, "Trisha, you're a clartie bitch!"

She's had her washing on the line for three days now. It was sunny when I took the picture, but it's also been raining.

Three days!

She's just a lazy besom. She's been there, I've seen her come and go. Why leave washing out on the line all this time? It'll be dirtier now than when she hung it out.

And look at her "garden" - isn't it one fucking mess!?!?

She should be strung up and horse-whipped.

If you don't know what clartie and besom mean, click here.

I'm going to have to try these new words I learned on some people I loathe. LOL. With my luck, they will probably know what they mean...

Call someone a besom (pronounced "bism") and tell them it's a Scottish term for sweet or kindly.

After listening to Davina Porter narrate Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series, reading your blog is almost like coming home (even though I am nay a Scot). Heh...I didn't even need that handy translation tool you provided to know what "besom" meant.

Thanks for the smile you gave to me, and keep up the good work.

(Now to try to use that tool to translate what phonetically sounds like "Mo Khreer". I suspect, from the context that I have heard it used in that it means something along the lines of "My Love". Be that as it may, I love the way it sounds)
