Flu

The first case of avian flu has been found in the UK - in Fife, no less, just across the Firth of Forth, about a twenty minute drive from here. Where exactly, I'm not sure. Click here to read the news story on the BBC News website.

I'm not a sensationalist and not one who's often whipped up into a frenzy, but please, keep your pets away from wild birds and stop eating poultry and poultry products. Chuck out your eggs - NOW!

Oh Lord...one more thing to worry about (as if we all don't have enough to think about already...) Sadly, it's only a matter of time before it hits us in the states.

Officials stressed that there was no reason for public health concern.

Lucky for me, I don't give a crap about Bird Flu :) I ate eggs during the Salmonella scare, Beef during the Mad Cow Disease scare, Lamb during the Foot and Mouth scare, and now Chicken.

Because I'm probably fucked already! hehe At least I could earn fame as the first Brit to cop it from a chicken cold.
