He's on the bone...
Notorious nymphomaniac Sarah Cracknell and sex-mad Marc Almond have teamed up to record a version of Dusty Springfield's I close my eyes and count to ten.
Exciting! Nice to release a cover version!

I loved it when Marc Almond, Nina Hagen and Rosenstolz did Nomi's Total Eclipse!! It was marrrrrvelous!!
On another note, you know that Liz Fraser is finally coming out with her own solo album ['album', how 80's!] this spring! hip hip hurray!!
TGIF!
Sarah Cracknell, Marc Almond, Dusty Springfield? That's a hell of a pedigree! I look forward to hearing it.
Total Eclipse is one of my favourite records of all time.
I can't wait to hear Mar and Sarah's version of "I close my eyes..." either. Disco? Drum 'n' base? House?
Death metal? Brechtian Showtune? Gangster rap? All of the above? With those two, who can tell?
(Although I suspect your guess will be closer to the truth than mine...)
Perhaps you need to do a '5 interesting things about me' post? :-)
Bill! It has to be showtune style!
Reluctant Nomad, I did it a while back. It was all about Mars Bars and shit. Very dull, hen. Oh, btw - the Mars Bars and the shit weren't linked in any way.
Oh, I must have that! I LOVE Marc Almond! Always have! So cool! So short!
One of the stalkers I left behind in Nottingham looks like a young Marc Almond. Oops, I do hope he won't follow links to here. :-)
"I close my eyes and count to ten"....it sounds like bad sex to me.
Matty! Everyone loves Marc Almond because of his height. Sex Dwarf.
Reluctant Nomad, people will be jealous knowing you had a stalker. I've never been that lucky, but am open to offers.
Lewis, Dusty was trying to hide her 'mosexuality at the time!
Sounds like a great collaboration. I love Sarah Cracknell and Saint Etienne. Marc Almond is okay too, but I hope he doesn't down three pints of anything dodgy before recording the vocal.
Oh, I love Marc for a lot more than the fact that he is tiny. Well, so to speak. However, he has gotten too many tats for my personal tastes. Still, what a great voice.
