Madame President
I'm going to make a prediction for 2008/9.
The United States of America will get its first female President.
Hillary Clinton v Condoleezza Rice.
Whadya think? Party politics aside, it can only be a good thing, right?
If such a contest were to take place, and I'm sure it will, who do you think, dear reader, will win?

If such a contest were to take place (which it won't... sorry to disappoint), I think Hillary would win.
Why do you think such a contest won't take place!?
Condi hasn't expressed interest in running. Evidently she's a lesbian so that would be difficult to explain.
I truly don't think she has presidential ambitions. I suppose she could -- lots of people lie about it until the right time -- but I actually believe it when she says she doesn't.
Also, the Republican nominating process is such that extremist voters in the early primaries probably wouldn't go for her. Not so much because she's a black woman (not to mention, according to several sources, a big ol dyke), although that would be a factor for some, but because she's not conservative enough for them. And the war will be even more unpopular in 2008 and she's strongly identified with that monstrosity.
So there are some reasons.
Hillary, I don't know. She could be on the Dem ticket; we'll have to see.
I hope, whatever happens, that there will be a female President in the USA before too long.
We had a woman PM a while back and it all went horribly wrong. See if the Americans can do better than the Brits. I sincerely hope so.
We couldn't do much worse than the current occupant of the White House, so here's hoping.
How come more guys in drag don't imitate Margaret Thatcher? She's so campy, really.
