Playlist tag

I recenty read Our Glorious Leader's and Stuart Price's ultimate party playlist and was pleased to see their number one choice was West End Girls by Pet Shop Boys. I was also chuffed to bits to see Supernature by Cerrone was at number two.

Madge and Stu have excellent taste.

Now, you know me, dear reader, and you know how I love lists, so here is my top ten ultimate party playlist:

Well, Minge, the Pop Top Ten is fine with me as long as I may go as far back as the Middle Ages... But describing myself in song titles... I don't think I can. Too many questions, too much involved...
You are just fantabulous at doing this! Unbelievable! Congrats! :-)

Aw, shucks. I'll be looking for your response on your blog!

Eek! I shall have to ponder this. Just ten? Aaargh!

Ooh boy, this may require some hunting though vinyl, tapes and the cd's. My brain is active but it doesn't always retain everything!

I'll have to think on this one a bit as well.

Yes, Enda, just ten. It's harder than you think (as the actress said to the bishop...)

JAG - I'm looking forward to seeing what your top ten is. I wonder who you'll include?

Minge said...

Susan! I wonder if you'll make David and I proud and include an Army Of Lovers track?

What an interesting group of blogs! I'll no doubt spend hours reading them. Army of Lovers almost made my own list, but were bumped off in the final edit. Sorry!

What song by Army Of Lovers and did you download Souvenirs? Anyone?

Mr. Anjou said...

I did download Souvenirs... classic! thanks for posting it, Minge. The Army's "Candyman Messiah" is on my top 20 party list, and "Ride the Bullet" would hit the top 40.

Ohhh, Minge. This is a fabulous tag. I'm going to have to really think about this one and do it when I have time. ;)

"An interesting response to my question, but while all answers are responses, not all responses are answers."

Click for my response.

It's Raining Men would be in the top 20. It has to be The Weather Girls, though. Those vile covers by Geri Halliwell and RuPaul are shit.

I posted a party song list on my blog. Hopefully it's showing up on there.
