Poole

Phyllis and I went down to Bournemouth just over a fortnight ago. He drove. All the way. Almost five hundred miles! We left Clydebank mid afternoon on the Friday and arrived at my Mother's house in the early hours of the following day.

After a reasonably long lie-in, we took off to Poole for lunch in a pub.

We saw chavs.

From the pub, we drove on to Sandbanks.

Then took the ferry over to Purbeck.

I love this photograph. An action shot. Look at Mary's legs. Do you know how many pictures I had to take before I got that, dear reader?

Mary loves the beach.

And she loves to pose. As you can see. One ear up, one ear down.

Meg can't be bothered with posing when there's a stick or a ball to fetch.

But she does like to dig.

Lovely photos of the girls!
They look so similar... But I can see the difference now (after looking and looking though)...
