Billie Piper

I've just heard some news about Billie Piper.

If you don't want to know what happens with Rose in Doctor Who, DO NOT click here. However, by all means do if you're desperate to know.

It must be said though, that curiosity killed the cat but knowing made him better.

  1. Have they ever had a male sidekick for the doctor? I think Russel T Davis is just the man that could introduce that... But the fans might be up in arms about it.

  2. There have been a few, yes! I think it's now time for a gay one. An arch-homo!

  3. Well, the last episode did say that Rose would die in battle...

  4. OMG! The Cybermen kill her!

  5. One down... Now for the rest of the program... Including the show itself ;)

  6. What blasphemy, Dan!?!?

  7. Truth, dear, truth... Doctor Who really is a big ol' pile of pants, lets face it. Your TV License money hard at work. The other £110 goes on their Xmas Party.

  8. I think Dan's just very upset that Miss Piper is departing the show. I share your feelings, Dan. Some blogs have been slamming her acting but I think she does a swell job, especially in Impossible Planet/Satan Pit.

Do the Cybermen kill her....or convert her?

  9. Will she be dead if she's converted?

  10. I've cried my tears over Billie when she quit her "singing" career hehehe

But Doctor Who has never ever appealed to me.

  11. I think the implication is that the conversion process is irreversible. They met the Jackie Tyler Cyberman (couldn't have happened to a nicer bitch) and the Doctor didn't hold out a lot of hope.

All conjecture on my part. I have to admit, I don't think they'll kill her. The whole "die in battle" thing is far too much of a red herring for my taste. RTD might be subtle as a chainsaw in some things but I don't think he'd be that careless in his foreshadowing. It's probably a metaphorical death in battle, like her fighting spirit dies. Kind of like how Tegan left because she just got sick of it. The problem with Tegan's exit was that it was just so sudden. We may be able to argue that they've been building up Rose's intolerance for space/time travel the whole season.

Not that I've put any thought into this. I guess we'll know in a few weeks.

  12. eh? I didn't understand a word of any of this. Doctor Pants, in my opinion, and I think Dan agrees. What a Shiloh Pitt.

I mean, the first of the new series with that incredibly untalented actor (I can't even remember his name) had a pile of skin stretched over a steel frame... and THAT was the baddie! Get a life. Doctor Pants.

It's AWFUL. And if you admit to liking it then you're a BIG GAY.

  13. Yay Alan! Not alan, Alan. Or something.
I mean, come on... A scary bit of skin with a face? I get scarier skin off my feet.

  14. Did the Beast not scare you?

Oh, and David Tennant is from Bathgate, Alan! We might have seen him.

  15. The beast? Can't say it did as I've only ever caught one part of one episode of the new DrWho. Boring as hell. Never appealed to me as a kid either.
